AR6400 Fuel System Cleaners

Essential Maintenance for Your Fuel System

AR6400 Fuel System Cleaners
AR6400 Fuel System Cleaners

Archoil's high concentrate fuel system cleaners (AR6400-D for diesel and AR6400-G for gasoline) are designed to restore and maintain maximum performance and fuel economy.

Even a brand new vehicle's performance will decline if not regularly treated with a fuel system and engine cleaner.

AR6400-D

For Diesel Engines

AR6400-D is formulated to clean diesel engines and fuel systems. Use AR6400-D every 5,000 miles or every oil change to maintain a clean diesel fuel system and engine.

Benefits

  • Optimized for diesel engines
  • Cleans fuel system and injectors
  • Reduces combustion chamber deposits
  • Removes soot deposits from DPF/EGR/Turbo
  • Restores optimum power and fuel efficiency

How it Works

Clean fuel system and engine

AR6400-D uses PEA detergents to remove gum, varnish and carbon deposits from the fuel system, injectors and engine helping restore power and fuel efficiency.

Break down soot

AR6400-D also helps remove soot build-up from the post combustion systems. Use AR6400-D to prevent or remedy blocked DPF's, dirty EGR systems and stuck wastegates and variable turbochargers, and associated drivability issues.

Increase power and fuel efficiency

Deposits in the fuel system and engine as well as in post combustion systems cause drivability issues and reduce fuel economy and power. Use AR6400-D to refresh your diesel engine's performance.

AR6400-D Usage

Use AR6400-D every 5000 miles or as required. We recommend using AR6200 Fuel Treatment at every fill-up between AR6400-D treatments.

One bottle of AR6400-D treats between 12 and 25 gallons of fuel. Use one bottle per 12 gallons of fuel for deep cleaning.

"In my 6.0L PowerStroke it was truly incredible. My first refill at the same station and the same pump, I hand calculated 19.5mpg, that's around town with some freeway driving, it's usually an average of 16mpg. Also the power and performance level increase with this product in your fuel is a whole new experience. When towing heavy trailer loads of hay last weekend my low end power had increased substantially. The exhaust tone of the truck was also noticeably cleaner sounding and all gauge readings were in the sweet zone."

AR6400-G

For Gasoline Engines

AR6400-G is formulated to clean gasoline engines and fuel systems. Use AR6400-G every 5,000 miles to maintain a clean fuel system and engine.

Benefits

  • Optimized for gasoline engines
  • Cleans fuel system and injectors
  • Reduces combustion chamber deposits
  • Cleans intake valves
  • Increases power and fuel efficiency

How it Works

Clean fuel system and engine

AR6400-G uses PEA detergents to quickly and safely remove gum, varnish and carbon from the fuel system and engine. AR6400-G will also clean carbon deposits from intake valves on manifold injected vehicles, and help to remove deposits from turbochargers and EGR valves.

Ensure optimum power and fuel efficiency

Many of the world's automobile manufacturers including BMW, GM, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Audi, recognize that the levels of detergents required by the EPA to be present in gasoline is not high enough to maintain optimal engine performance. Removing deposits which have built up over time will restore power and fuel economy which has been degraded by deposit formation. Regular use of AR6400-G will help maintain optimum fuel economy and power.

AR6400-G Usage

Use AR6400-G every 5,000 miles or as required. We recommend using AR6200 Fuel Treatment at every fill-up between AR6400-G treatments.

One bottle of AR6400-G treats between 12 and 25 gallons of fuel. Use one bottle per 12 gallons of fuel for deep cleaning.

AR6400 Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between AR6200 and AR6400 (D or G)?

A small amount of AR6200 Fuel Modification Complex is added to every tank of fuel to boost performance, ensure fuel quality and protect the fuel system from wear, deposit formation and corrosion. AR6400 (D or G) is designed to be added in large doses to remove existing deposits from your fuel system and engine. For example, a 16.9 oz bottle of AR6200 treats up to 500 gallons of fuel and a 16 oz bottle of AR6400 (D or G) treats up to 25 gallons of fuel.

I am currently using AR6200 in every tank of fuel and my vehicle is running fine. Will there be any benefit to using AR6400 (D or G)?

Removing deposits which have built up over time from diesel or gasoline engines will restore power and fuel economy which has been degraded by deposit formation. Using a fuel system and engine cleaner regularly will maintain optimum fuel economy and power. AR6200 Fuel Modification Complex is a maintenance product and will help keep your fuel system clean in between treatments, but in order to remove heavy deposits the higher concentration of detergent offered by AR6400 (D or G) Fuel System and Engine Cleaner is necessary.

Can I use AR6200 at the same time as AR6400 (D or G)?

You can use AR6200 at the same time as AR6400 (D or G)

turbo start to rev again

well turbo refused to rev and black smoke was everywhere
especially taking off with a load from a dead stop
after running 2 gas tanks with the treatment
the turbo was back again
i know it did not fix the turbo problem completely
but there is an obvious improvement
i will continue with the product and see if there will be farther improvements

AR6400D review

This seems to do a good job of cleaning soot from the injection system, however it seems like it increases some numbers reported in the emissions test.
It's easy to deal with. I used to put AR6400D in the tank and run it for about 30 miles just before taking it in for the emissions test. I now just run AR6400D in the tankful of gas prior to taking it in for an emission test. I burn half the tank, then fill up again and run another 30 miles before taking it in for emissions.
The way I found this out (emissions are increased when AR6400D are added [to a full tank]), was when I had to do the emissions test 2 times, once it failed for EGR system issue, which I fixed and then re-tested it. The numbers were better on the 2nd testing, which is after I refilled the tank. You could say it was due to the EGR change I made, however, the change was simply to route the oil from my aftermarket EGR filter back to the crank-case, which can't affect emissions.

AR6400 in 2008 F350 6.4L Super Duty Dully

No really sure just what this fuel system cleaner does technically, all I can write about is the results I see from behind the wheel. 1-Have external 50 gallon tank which had problems with "noflow" message. Unit does not have a internal fuel filter. After using one application of AR6400-D the problem resolved itself. Can only assume the fuel system cleaner work. 2-Have notice an increase in acceleration. 3-Have seen a reduction in the typical Black Exhaust coming out of the tailpipe. 4-Increase in fuel economy. Using one bottle of AR6400 after each 5K oil change. Note am still using AR6200-D at each fuel fill-up in both internal and external tanks. Maybe a overkill.......
