How It Works

Engine oil is exposed to very high temperatures and pressures within the Spool valve ('poppet valve' in 7.3l) of HEUI injectors. The oil degrades and forms deposits that cause excessive wear, creating static friction, or 'stiction', which can prevent the injector from firing.

A blend of esters combined with our additive package removes deposits and forms a friction reducing solid boundary lubricating film on the bore of the 'spool valve'. By removing deposits and reducing friction, AR9100 eliminates stiction issues.

Yes, but if AR9100 is added to used oil which will be drained soon it would need to be replaced at the next oil change. If an oil change is coming up consider waiting until then to add AR9100 so it can be used for a full oil drain, or consider changing your oil when you add AR9100 so it goes in with fresh oil.

When adding AR9100 to used oil, make sure there is room by draining some oil out beforehand. Make sure not to add AR9100 to an already full crankcase, doing so will exceed your engines maximum oil capacity and can cause engine damage. If your dipstick shows that the oil is below the maximum mark, you can usually add AR9100 without draining oil out.

For all Power Strokes remove ½ a quart (16 oz) of oil from the engine before adding a 16 oz bottle of AR9100. If you are adding AR9100 during an oil change use less oil so there is room.

I do believe the exhaust color on startup of the old 7.3 definitely improved. Used fuel additive first and then oil additive also. I will use the oil additive again with my next oil change 👍

Archoil - For Any Engine

I've got about 300 miles now on my 250,000 mile Toyota 22R engine and the engine feels pretty good and seems like it is smoothing out a little. I couldn't see any smoke coming out the tailpipe before adding archoil, but I know the engine was using some oil about a quart every 3000 miles. I'm still watching to see in more driving time if the oil consumption becomes less. But yeah, the engine does feel a bit smoother and should continue to do so as I drive my 4x4 truck more. Archoil seems very well be the safest engine oil additive with noticeable results.
