Unlike most engines, HEUI injection systems use oil pressure to raise fuel pressure inside injectors. The oil degrades and forms deposits, causing static friction, also known as 'stiction' and excessive wear.
AR9100 ELIMINATES STICTION
AR9100 Friction Modifier cleans out HEUI injectors and utilizes nano lubrication technology to create a friction-reducing film which eliminates hard start and drivability issues caused by deposits and wear.
Use one 16 oz bottle of AR9100 at every oil change to eliminate and prevent stiction.
AR9100 extends oil drain intervals by reducing the rate of oil degradation and removing sludge and deposits that clog passages, cause piston rings to stick and cause engine damage.
Blackstone Laboratories found oil treated with AR9100 displayed similar degradation after 10,000 miles to that of universal averages of untreated oil after 5,500 miles.

I’ve used the friction modifier in my first oil change since owning my power stroke and the difference it’s made in 5000 miles is absolutely insane. Better starts, no more white smoke, better acceleration.
I always use the diesel treatment as well and my tuner showed 11.6 mpg before arch oil and now with running it 1oz per 10 gallon I’m averaging 15.8 with a delete and tune.

Methods of adding AR9100 at an oil change include pre-treating your engine or pre-treating your oil. If your oil change is carried out at a shop, bring your bottle of AR9100 and ask the attendant to add the product.

Yes, but if AR9100 is added to used oil which will be drained soon it would need to be replaced at the next oil change. If an oil change is coming up consider waiting until then to add AR9100 so it can be used for a full oil drain, or consider changing your oil when you add AR9100 so it goes in with fresh oil.
When adding AR9100 to used oil, make sure there is room by draining some oil out beforehand. Make sure not to add AR9100 to an already full crankcase, doing so will exceed your engines maximum oil capacity and can cause engine damage. If your dipstick shows that the oil is below the maximum mark, you can usually add AR9100 without draining oil out.
For all Power Strokes remove ½ a quart (16 oz) of oil from the engine before adding a 16 oz bottle of AR9100. If you are adding AR9100 during an oil change use less oil so there is room.
